Preston Manning 2.0 the king of C.R.A.P. No wonder so many Albertans like him.

Time to flush the CRAP once and for all.

Was it Allan Fotheringham who penned that acronym?

Presto! Manning sure was a hoot.

In the world of surfing where I live, when a giant wave passes you by, tosses you around, and pushes you under — that’s called a wipe out.

In the realm of party politics, that’s called a career ender.

By god I hope it washes him out to sea…What he’s capable of becoming would concern me. As each day goes by, the difference between him and Carney becomes more evident. I continue to tell other Albertans, Carney is not, is not..a Justin Trudeau. More has been planned in the past 2-3 weeks for Canada’s independence than the past 10 yrs with Trudeau. If we mess this up, just like in the US, then we’re to blame.

Poilievre's right wing base has nowhere to go, so why is the CPC worried about alienating them?

PP has room to wrap himself in the flag and do his impression of Captain Canada. Totally insincere, but what the hell, this is politics.

Poilievre is a 🤡 and a ‘pipsqueak’ bully. So much of what he bellows, is Trump’s bull shit, wrong guy to mimic today! So, once Trudeau left, (who took it, but couldn’t dish it out), PP’s windbag deflated. The other problem is, he has no substance to him, no experience, no character, and my daughter is more educated than he is. Elite, or no elite, Carney has character, and is highly educated and experienced around the world! What’s an elite anyway? Poilievre’s net worth is 3.5 times higher than Carney’s, no one asks him how? Come on, he’s been groomed and being helped by the who’s, who in Conservative circles! And yet, it took 12 rounds to elect him as the CPC leader, and that’s from his own party! He’s had his time with his bumper sticker slogans, he needs to go now…

I hope you are correct, but the election results, in my opinion, don’t give me the confidence to have faith in this narrative.

PP managed to increase the vote count for the CPC into the 40% range, higher than the previous election. He managed to pull votes away from the NDP by attracting unionized tradesmen and women by convincing them that he supports them and their unions (even though his voting record in the HoC screams the opposite and his adulation of Milton Friedman would conflict with everything unions stands for).

If it weren’t for the BQ voters in Quebec switching to support the Liberals, the election results would have been quite different.

I certainly can’t imagine why anyone would support his right wing, libertarian policies or believe the lies he spouts, but apparently there is a significant subset of Canadians that seem happy to swallow his slogans and lies.

It worries me to think that if the Quebec voters go back to supporting their BQ candidates in the next election and PP can fool even more NDP voters into voting for his party Canada will be in for a very rude, Trump-like awakening.

Boomers love Carney's promise of a steady hand. They have the most to lose if Polliviere reduces their entitlements, especially relating to house prices. Their not sure what Trump means but he's an easy target to hang on PP.

Gen Y & Z love PP for his change agenda. They know we Boomers have cheated them out of their hoped-for future. No house, lower pay and a shrinking economy. They will be the ones to pay off our massive government debt.

Or maybe the debt never gets paid off? Modern Monetary Theory warns us against thinking about government debt the same way we think about personal debt. They simply are not the same thing. Anyway, gen y and z have far greater worries than paying off a future government debt when environmental destruction and energy depletion are waiting. The end of cheap and easily accessible fossil fuels is coming soon. By then, government debt will be part of a bygone era.

Poilievre cheats. In his riding 300 lawn signs for the Liberal candidate were stolen. Independant candidates numbering almost 30 were confirmed to create voter confusion. He does not deserve to win anything. Good riddance Pee pee.

In politics a lot can happen in a day. No better example of that is when our former priminister resigned (thankfully) Then you bring up Hillary.

Hillary? You must be joking. The most universally despised woman in America. And just to let you know she stank as a politician. Rode her husbands coattails up the ladder.

So according to you, articles like these only cause people to stay home and not vote. Really now, so by your logic, all the articles that portray Carney in a negative light, will cause even more voters to stay home.

I guess we can expect a light turnout on this election night April 28th.

Did it ever occur to you that between Danielle Smith and Donald Trump the conservatives have been hit by a wrecking ball of their own making.

Tripe? I think not, reality is the conservatives have blown a 24% Point lead. That Dear Sir, is not accomplished by articles. It just might be self inflicted.
